Signed documents anyone can verify
Reports, horse passports, contracts and terms signed in GENNO come out as PDFs with the signature, a verification code and the trail of who signed, when and how.
Three signature levels
You choose the level for each document. GENNO follows Brazilian Law 14.063/2020 and the European signed PDF standard (PAdES).
Simple
Identifies who signed: the veterinarian's professional license and a verification code in the footer.
- ✓Sign in the field, without signal
- ✓Code and QR code on every page
- ✓Content checked by its cryptographic hash (SHA-256)
Advanced
Uniquely linked to you: account sign-in and confirmation with a code sent to the GENNO app (or your password).
- ✓Electronic records consent accepted before the first signature
- ✓Completion certificate at the end of the PDF: who, when, IP, device and method
- ✓PDF sealed with GENNO's digital certificate and a trusted timestamp
- ✓Owners also sign contracts and terms in the portal
Qualified
With the veterinarian's cloud digital certificate: you authorize it in your provider's app and the PDF carries your digital signature.
- ✓ICP-Brasil signature policy (AD-RB and AD-RT)
- ✓For customers in Europe, qualified providers through the Cloud Signature Consortium API
- ✓Available for the providers integrated with GENNO
Prescriptions and documents that the law requires to carry a qualified certificate need the qualified signature; the advanced one does not replace it.
How to verify a document
Whoever receives the document doesn't need a GENNO account.
1
With the QR code or the code
The public page shows who issued it, who signed, the signature level and whether the content matches. For passports, it shows today's health status.
2
In any PDF reader
With advanced and qualified signatures, the reader's signature panel shows whether the file changed after signing.
3
In the ITI validator
Documents with an ICP-Brasil qualified signature can also be checked at validar.iti.gov.br.
4
By comparing the file
On the verification page, choose the PDF you received: GENNO compares the cryptographic hash in your own browser, without uploading the file.
How we take care of your data
Protected connection
The app, the web and the portal talk to the server over HTTPS.
Protected passwords
Passwords are stored only as a hash (bcrypt), never in plain text.
Each farm in its own space
Each organization's data is kept apart, and each person sees only what their access profile allows.
Audit
Changes are logged, and every signature keeps its full trail.
Privacy
Data processing follows Brazil's LGPD (Law 13.709/2018), as described in our privacy policy.
Legal basis
Brazil
Law 14.063/2020 (simple, advanced and qualified levels) and Provisional Measure 2.200-2/2001 (ICP-Brasil).
