GENNO Platform Terms of Use
Version 2026-10 · en vigueur depuis le 12/10/2026
1. Acceptance and purpose
By accessing, signing up for or using the GENNO software and app (provided as SaaS — Software as a Service), the User declares that they have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms of Use.
GENNO provides technology tools for the clinical and reproductive management of horses, herd records, electronic medical records, embryo transfer (ET) management and the organization of daily operations for veterinarians, breeders and studs.
2. Registration, access and account security
To use GENNO, the User must provide true, accurate and up-to-date information (including their professional license, when applicable). The User is solely responsible for keeping their login credentials safe and confidential and must not share them with third parties.
The organization's administrator is responsible for the users they invite and the access profiles they assign to each one.
3. Technical responsibility and veterinary judgment
GENNO is a tool that supports management and technical records. Automatic suggestions, alerts, ovulation calendars, dose calculations and protocols do not replace the clinical assessment, professional judgment and technical autonomy of the veterinarian in charge. Responsibility for procedures, prescriptions and interventions lies solely with the licensed professional.
4. Offline app and synchronization
The GENNO mobile app works without internet (offline-first), so exams and procedures can be recorded in areas without coverage. The User must connect the device to the internet regularly so that local data is synchronized with the servers. Data not yet synchronized exists only on the device.
5. Plans, payment, suspension and cancellation
- Access to the contracted modules is granted through a monthly or annual subscription, at the prices and in the currency in force when the subscription is made.
- Each plan has the modules and usage limits (such as properties, animals, documents and users) shown on the plans page. Once a limit is reached, the plan must be changed to add more.
- If payment is not made by the due date, the account keeps working during the grace period stated in the subscription; after that, it is suspended. An account that remains suspended for 30 days is considered canceled.
- Cancellation can be requested at any time in the dashboard or through support. Access continues until the end of the period already paid.
6. Closing the account and data retention
Once the paid period of a canceled subscription ends, GENNO keeps the account data for 30 (thirty) calendar days. During this period the account is blocked for use, and the organization's administrator can only export the data, reactivate the subscription or contact support. If the subscription is reactivated within this period, the data becomes available again as usual.
After this period, all account data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered: records, clinical and reproductive data, documents, attachments, photos and the users who do not belong to another organization.
- We keep only the records that the law requires: application access logs for 6 (six) months (Brazilian Law No. 12,965/2014, art. 15), billing and tax data for 5 (five) years, and the record of acceptance of these Terms.
- The public verification page of a deleted document will state that it was deleted when the account was closed.
- Deletion may be postponed by court order or at the customer's express request, and brought forward also at the customer's express request.
The organization's administrator can export the data at any time under "Export my data". Keeping medical records and documents as required of the professional by their licensing board is the User's responsibility, and they must be exported before the end of the period.
7. Intellectual property
The GENNO brand, software, logos, source code, algorithms, interfaces and materials are the exclusive property of GENNO and are protected by intellectual property laws. The User receives a personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license for professional use of the platform. The data entered by the User remains theirs.
8. Limitation of liability
GENNO makes its best technical efforts to ensure the availability, integrity and security of the application. It is not liable for interruptions caused by telecommunications failures, acts of God or force majeure, or use of the platform contrary to its instructions.
9. Changes to these Terms
These Terms have a version and an effective date. When there is a relevant change, GENNO will notify you in GENNO and ask for a new acceptance at your next access; wording-only changes are announced without a new acceptance. Each acceptance is recorded with the version, date, IP address and device.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the district of GENNO's headquarters are elected to settle disputes, without prejudice to the consumer's right to sue in the courts of their domicile.
These Terms are also available in Portuguese and Spanish; in case of discrepancy, the Portuguese text prevails.
En cas de divergence entre les langues, le texte en portugais prévaut.
